Food and walking tour of Genoa city central

A lovely morning spent strolling the streets of the old Town. Marina was a great guide, sharing much of the city's history as well as introducing us to some of the local cuisine (little places we would have passed by without realizing what we were missing). Highly recommend, especially as the pace was easy and the food delicious. We revisited a few of them the next day, in fact. The food was mostly simple local cuisine, in decent portions that left us quite full and in no need of supper that evening! A memorable and lovely way to experience Genoa.

A must do in Genoa

We loved this tour! Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and informative about the area. A native, she shared her family history and information we would not have known otherwise. And, the food was great! So fun to discover this hidden side to Genova.

Tasty and filling food tour

Really enjoyed the tour, despite blustery cloudy day. Marina was great guide, knowledgeable about city history and especially the food. Had focaccia, traditional farinata and other veggie tarts, fried fresh seafood, wonderful thin pizza with pesto and local cheese and ham. And amaros. Only surprise was no pasta.

Great way to see Genoa!

We were so fortunate to end up with a private tour with Marina! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about Genoa - she knew the shopkeepers and restaurant owners and gave us good advice - not just about the food but also about other places to see in Genoa. We really enjoyed the tour!

Outstanding. Eat delicious food and see the town.

Outstanding! There were 12 in our group and Samantha did an excellent job navigating us through the city and the food. We ate at 5 places, great variety ranging from foccia, to fresh seafood, to three types of pasta and 4 types of foccia pizza. Finished with yummy gelato. Saw a lot of the city on the walk. Wine was included with the pasta. If you want to see the town while eating lots and lots of delicious food then this is a great tour!
